This new center will provide program spaces for fee-based childcare, as well as a regional Head Start program. Integrated into the larger Greenbridge campus, Hargis is serving the center and supporting 11,500 sf underground parking garage as the mechanical, electrical and telecommunications consulting engineer.

From award-winning design to supporting operational efficiencies, our consulting team has collaborated with project stakeholders to advance the agency’s leadership in library capital planning and design.

Community Services Center

Integrated early into the programming and schematic design of KCR’s Community Services Center, Hargis collaborated with the design team to evaluate the project objectives, develop whole-building design options, identify opportunities and implement sustainable design approaches. Following the project through design and construction, Hargis also supported the owner in successfully applying for grant funds based upon the sustainable design approach.

Communications Center

Improvements to the mission critical spaces were integral to the regional transit authority’s integration of a new real-time monitoring and communications system to connect with its fleet of drivers in the field. The upgrades within the live operating environments were also completed to support Homeland Security protocols upon close-out.

In collaborating with the team, they developed approaches to complete the upgrades while the legislative session will be in progress.
